So here is my Superman - Man of Style entry over at Project:Rooftop. Now I was just supposed to change the costume but then I went and changed him altogether. I went with the "Man of Tomorrow" tagline that Supes has got and made him more of an old pulp sci-fi hero. Landing on our planet as an infant the boy who would be called Clark Kent would grow up to understand he was different from the other kids... he was faster, stronger, smarter, and was able to move objects with his mind. Building a suit from the remains of his kryptonian ship,that was powered by solar energy (it was powered by his mind but one of the judges said the bubbles coming out of his chest and hands looked like solar energy and you know what, that just sounds better) he became Superman. Oh and if you notice Clark looks really skinny as a reporter 'cause he was supposed to be that way so when he became Superman it was an actual transformation, kinda like the hulk putting on pounds when he changes. His mind would augment his body adding muscle mass and enhancing his strength and speed. So I dont think I'm gonna win this one cause its just too removed from the actual Supes but I really had a fun time coming up with this one. A lot of fun.
The winner will be announced on Monday at Pulpsecret.com. So we'll see if we get lucky.

Great job, I love your "science hero" take on Superman. Considering the way Krypton is usually portrayed, it's a great version of a "Man of Tomorrow".
Your redesign was my favourite out of all of them!
Glad I could give you some encouragement. So at first I didn't understand exactly your story-intentions from just looking at the artwork, but in general I got it and thought it made perfect sense.
